P10 6000-Nit Transparent LED Window Display in Belgium
InVisia Displays delivered a custom transparent LED window-display system for a retail storefront in Belgium. Spanning 31.17 m² across nine existing glass windows, the installation was specified at 6,000 nits to support outward-facing promotional content in a daylight environment while preserving the open feel of the facade.
For retailers, storefront glass is a high-value communications surface. The challenge is to create a strong visual presence without turning the window into a solid wall that blocks daylight or obscures the store interior. This project was designed to address both requirements in one integrated display solution.
Project Overview
Location: Belgium
Application: Retail storefront glass window advertising display
Product: InVisia LP Series Transparent LED Display
Pixel Pitch: 10mm
Display Area: 31.17㎡
Number of Windows: 9 units
Single Window Size: 3120 × 1110mm
Brightness: 6000 nits
Installation: Hanging structure with aluminum frame
The installation covers nine individual window sections, each measuring 3120 × 1110 mm, for a total display area of 31.17 m². The display layout was configured around the existing window geometry, allowing the digital content to extend across the storefront while maintaining a clean, organized appearance. Each custom mesh panel measured 370 × 1560 mm and was combined to match the dimensions of each window section.
6000 Nits High Brightness for Outdoor-Facing Glass Windows
Because the display is installed behind storefront glass and viewed from outside, daylight visibility was a central project requirement. The system was specified at 6,000 nits to help keep promotional visuals, branded content, and campaign messaging clear in a bright, outward-facing retail environment.
Unlike a conventional opaque LED wall, the transparent display allows the storefront to remain visually connected with the space inside. The result is a digital communications surface that supports dynamic content while retaining the architectural character of the glass facade.
Full-LEDs Panel Design for Better Visual Performance
This project adopts a full-LEDs panel. Viewed from the front, the display presents a clean, nearly borderless appearance. The full-area LED design provides improved visual impact.
Screw-Fixed Structure Eliminates Long-Term Installation Concerns
For pasting LED panels onto frame with 3M adhesive, the customer has concerns about long-term reliability:
- Will the LED modules fall after years of installation?
- Will adhesive materials age or peel off?
To solve these concerns, InVisia designed this project with a mechanical screw-fixed installation method instead of relying on adhesive bonding.
The transparent LED mesh panels are securely fixed to the supporting structure with screws, creating a stronger and more reliable connection between the LED display and the installation frame.
This design provides significant advantages:
- No risk of adhesive aging
- No concern about glue peeling over time
- Better mechanical stability
4-Layer PCB + 2oz Copper Thickness
InVisia transparent LED displays use 4-Layer PCB + 2oz Copper Thickness. Compared with other PCB designs, the upgraded PCB structure provides:
- Better current transmission
- Improved heat dissipation
- Higher circuit stability
- Longer product lifespan
Advanced Circuit Protection Design
The circuit protection design helps InVisia holographic invisible led displays never catch fire and more suitable for commercial environments requiring continuous operation.
Turning Storefront Glass into a Digital Brand Surface
The completed installation gives the retailer a flexible channel for new-product launches, seasonal campaigns, brand videos, and day-to-day promotional messaging. Content can be refreshed without replacing physical posters, while the storefront continues to offer visibility into the retail environment. For projects that need a transparent LED display behind glass, InVisia provides configuration support based on window dimensions, viewing conditions, brightness requirements, and installation constraints.
